My friend Harvey just sent over this link for an article in the Sun that features his family talking about the new fueltax in Vancouver. Ok, carbon tax. Thanks Harvey! Harvey has a great and progressive attitude about the family impact regarding this environmental measure by the BC government. On the day after the announcement we woke up to $1.14 a litre in Vancouver for gas and the tax is not even going to be levied until July! In theory I am in agreement. Economic pain may encourage the greater application of available technologies and the search for more ways to efficiently harness and spend energy. As well I am sure to pay more attention to our consumption as I hate to see our pennies get away from us so quickly.
