Out of Ur has a nice article from David Fitch challenging the CEO-senior pastor model.  I resonate with much of what he is saying and believe that we will continue to learn of this at Cityview as we continue our journey into multiple congregations and multiple pastors.  Interestingly this vision of a multiple-pastor team goes back way before I arrived in 1994 all the way to 1988 when the group moved into the Main St. area.  As well I think the seeds of that vision go back to when the group began in 1983.  One of the challenges will be to get into multiple presenters of the message or preaching.  When we get the Collingwood congregation in place I believe this will be more important to our health of not only the church but our also our staff.
