is there more to life than this?
Reginald Bibby, a Canadian sociologist and writer says that Canadians are becoming more and more concerned that they are not “getting what they should out of life.” Does this describe you? I am working on a sermon series called “Giving More to Life.” I am interested in your observations and your own feelings about what you are getting out of life. Do you find yourself asking, “Is-there-more-to-life-than-this” kinds of questions? If so, what are you doing about it? Do you want to do anything about it? And are your friends confronting the same question as well?
Many thanks for your participation in my preparation for preaching I do really care about this question and believe that Jesus has a tremendous amount to say about it. In fact Jesus says “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
Blessings,
Craig
