Well its been quiet around here for several days as I healed from surgery on Monday. I’m all patched up. Thanks to all who prayed for me, called, sent cards, email, and flowers. Today was the first day without pain medicine. Yeah! I must say that in general my first surgery experience was a good one. A good one? Well I got to choose to not be put under and I never heard anyone say, “Ooops!” I am very thankful for the wisdom God has granted to doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, and to the leaders of Canada who have made such a health care system available to its residents. We have much to give thanks for and continue to steward well.
