Welcome to our discussion group of Renovation of the Heart, by Dallas Willard. Here are some suggestions for you intended to help you participate in this group.
1. Get the book and read it. Feel free to read ahead. Mark your copy. Look up the Scripture noted and let the Word of God get down into your heart; ask the Holy Spirit to transform your mind as we consider together how God transforms character–our character.
2. Read prayerfully.
3. Technically. You are welcome to check back on this site to see if it is updated. However, you can get a “feed” reader that will help you. Most blogs and sites today are providing a regular “feed” that shows up in your reader as your subscriptions are updated. I have subscribed to the Google Reader; however there are many others available. Google is free. You can follow this link to set up the Google Reader. You will need to set up a gmail account, but that is painless :)
4. Once you set up your reader you can subscribe to my blog by using the following feed: http://cityview.blogsome.com/wp-rss.php
5. To participate in the discussion post comments. When you write a comment to an article don’t panic when it does not immediately appear on the site. All comments most be moderated; in this way I am protecting my site from spammers.
6. In the future I imagine some participants will be invited to post articles on the site in the “renovation” category.
